Very good use of space, I like how the piece fells of openest. The trees are very good portion to the mountains, its makes the mountains fell bigger. Just a personal thing but I think the tent a little big if you make the pony bigger or the tent smaller I think it would help with the piece portion making the mountain in the background fell bigger. But you got the shading down really good on the tree it look like the moonlight is coming from upper right corner. I would like to see more shading come from the bottom of the mountains to give more death to the mountains. But for your first piece very well done and for beginners I would recommend <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/c/u/c…" alt="" title="CutieArtCrusaders" /> these guys for newbies most of all the points I brought up is stuff I learned from them.
